The four scenes drift from Haunted Dusk through Pumpkin Glow to the pitch-black Witching Hour β the prettiest and meanest stretch in the game.
When the world goes dark at higher scores, the trees keep their eerie green accent glow. Stop tracking trunks and start tracking the glow: the safe gap is always the dark corridor between two glows. Enter it with full mana β a heavy broom in the dark is how most runs end.
The broom loses its magic β it doesn't fall out of the sky, but it flies heavy, sinking faster and climbing less per tap until you sip another potion.
In Endless mode, only when your mana is above half. In Streak mode you have no choice: every charm must be caught or the spell breaks and the run ends.
They share the spooky setting but not the difficulty curve: the witch's woods are organic and irregular, while the ghost's stone pillars are uniform. Most players find the witch harder to read but more predictable once learned.
